St. Croix Regional Medical Center
Since being founded in 1919, the St. Croix Regional Medical Center has continually grown and served as an entrance to downtown St. Croix Falls. When the hospital was ready to add the Lloyd Olson Surgery Suite, it sought vertical connections between material management, in-patient services, future space and a rooftop helipad.
After consulting with hospital staff to understand the importance of a healing environment, we created comfortable, private pre- and post-op rooms that have a non-institutional feel. State-of-the-art operating rooms feature the latest equipment booms, cutting-edge floors and high bay windows, giving staff views of the outside – a unique and calming approach that continues the inviting atmosphere we created throughout the building with warm tones and natural materials.
