Stone Tap Bar and Grill

When the owners of Stone Tap decided to combine their passion for good food and craft beer into a gastropub, they chose a historic Hudson property built in 1875. Previously known as a grand hotel as well as numerous bars and restaurants, the building had an interesting history — one we revealed layer by layer during renovation, from a restored exterior brick façade to resurrected hand-laid limestone and cream city brick walls.

Working with the owners’ vision, we carefully considered every detail as we explored how to accommodate a gastropub while maintaining and emphasizing the building’s underlying character. The result — with beautiful, multi-tone wood floors and exposed brick walls — is the perfect balance between fresh, new ideas and historic beauty.
