86 Coulee Road Professional Building

Located in the National Scenic Waterway for the St. Croix River, this project was challenged with an extremely tight site. To create a two-story office building, we worked closely with the Department of Natural Resources and the City of Hudson to develop a beautiful, financially viable project that would satisfy both jurisdictions.

Inspired by the constraints of the site, we chose simple, clean and contemporary exterior materials. Inside the building, we featured an open monumental staircase behind a two-story glass wall. Throughout the building, sustainable elements include 100% daylight, passive solar strategies, recycled and sustainable materials and low VOC finishes.
