St. Peter Lutheran Church
For members of St. Peter Lutheran Church, having a parish hall, classrooms and offices in a separate building than the sanctuary was not conducive to fellowship. So they asked us to replace the old sanctuary, which had been built in 1925, with one that would attach to their existing ’70s-era parish hall.
To create a welcoming, light-filled entrance, we designed a new bell tower to serve as the connecting point between the fellowship space and sanctuary. The new sanctuary, designed for wonderful sound, highlights a donated organ. Above the altar, exposed refinished pipes provide the backdrop for a simple cross. And throughout the space, new stained glass pieces complement relocated stained glass windows, beautifully juxtaposing the laminated beams.
