In 2022, First State Bank and Trust rebranded and expanded their community banking experience in Hudson Wisconsin. Cohesively with the updated brand, Studio EA developed the bank’s architecture with a fresh, clean, and comfortable modern look to reflect current core values and clientele. The historic permanence of light-colored regional stone is matched by clean and sophisticated wood-look metal siding and deep warm gray panels. A striking center circulation core separates the reimagined retail banking from operations while the upper level is dedicated to a modern and well-appointed trust department. Flexible workspace is spread throughout including informal conversation and collaboration areas, diversely appointed meeting spaces from intimate rooms to a large board room, and a fifty-person training and education room available to community organizations. Finish materials were selected for their warmth, richness, and comfort with special attention given to unique lighting solutions that give each space a focus and energy.
